Quilt cutting-plan worksheet
A printable cutting order for the table next to the rotary cutter. Each element of the quilt gets a row with finished size, seam allowance, cut size, pieces needed and a yards / WOF note, and a shop list totals everything by fabric so one trip to the shop covers the project.
On the Cutting plan tab
| Column | Why it is there |

Questions
Why a sheet instead of another browser cutter?
Browser yardage tools answer how much to buy. This sheet is the cutting order and shop list you take to the table: finished and cut size, piece count, and fabric totals by colour.
Is this a live yardage calculator?
No. It is a printable cutting order and shop list you fill by hand. Instant yardage from quilt and block size is the free yardage and binding calculators on this site.
Google Sheets or Excel?
Both. Import the .xlsx into Google Sheets (File, Import, Upload, Replace spreadsheet) or open it in Excel.
Is there sample data?
Yes: five sample cutting rows and four shop-list rows so you can see the shape. Replace them with your project.
How does cut size work?
Cut size = finished size + 2 × seam allowance. The sample rows already show that for a quarter-inch seam; change the numbers when your seam or finished size changes.
What about pattern PDF pricing?
Different job. The Pattern break-even sheet asks how many PDF sales you need at each list price to cover production costs. It has nothing to do with fabric cuts.
Is it really free?
Yes. Enter your email and the file arrives. No card. Paid pattern break-even and quilting kits are separate.
